Support Services

UCFS provides numerous onsite support services creating a pathway to success and self-sufficiency.

Work Readiness and Job Placement

Employment counseling and information on how to obtain a job, train individuals on resume writing, and effective job searching. Our Job Placement Specialist develops many new relationships with area employers throughout the community and facilitates successful placement of many individuals in need of work into jobs.

Financial Empowerment

A Financial Coach assists clients to improve money management skills and help build their assets portfolio for a stable future. Individuals also participate in a credit-building program to build their FICO credit score.

Citizenship Instruction

Citizenship Instruction Classes Prepares individuals for the U.S. Naturalization process by preparing them for the civics test and interview.  Classes are held on Thursdays 10am to 12pm

Immigration Legal Assistance

On site immigration, attorneys & Accredited BIA Representatives assist clients with maintaining legal status in the U.S., renewing non-immigrant visas, and providing adjustment of status and naturalization application assistance. By Appointment.

English as a Second Language Course

This course is provided weekly to help individuals learn the English language; which will help them assimilate into American culture. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm.
